Ekster is a Dutch brand that re-engineered the everyday wallet and, in just a few years, expanded into a full suite of smart travel accessories. The majority of our marketing for this brand is tailored to the US, due to that being their biggest market.

Despite a loyal customer base, their media mix and campaign structures were complex and they lacked clarity around which campaigns, channels, and product lines were actually driving profitable new-customer acquisition.
Ekster’s media mix was complicated. We killed the noise, doubled down on Meta and Google, and rebuilt both accounts.
The outcome was a lean, high-signal ecosystem where every dollar spent worked towards increasing new-customer profit.
This gave us the leniency to decide which channels should be in the mix without wasting spend or efficiency. This let us focus on making processes and systems for each channel that balanced bandwidth and resource available.

Migration to Triple Whale let us surface NC-economics in real time. Daily P&L checks became the heartbeat of decision-making: campaigns were trimmed or fuelled according to contribution margin, not vanity metrics.
By pairing platform data with full-funnel cost of goods, we enforced a “profit > revenue” rule that helped restore first-order profitability and ultimately resulted in a 40% increase in net profit over H2 2024.
Rather than drip-feeding budget, we concentrated spend around high-intent events: new-product drops, BFCM, Father’s Day etc.
Months-out planning aligned creative and inventory so we could flood the market when demand spiked - and power down when it didn’t. The result: efficient, scalable ads.
We helped drive growth in areas outside of the ad account by embedding our team and processes into Ekster’s NPD sprints, we turned campaign learnings into products people actually wanted.
Using tools like KnoCommerce post-purchase surveys, we spotted unmet demand for specific colourways and bundles.
Those insights shaped a new product which since launch has pulled in over $2.7 million in revenue.
